COMPANY „Stormfish“ LTD
Stormfish Ltd. was established on 21.04.2015 in Veliko Tarnovo. The company has rich experience in the management and maintenance of reservoirs – dams, their safe operation, fish farming and rearing of fish and other aquatic organisms, as well as obtaining products from them using appropriate technologies.
Since 27.04.2015 the company is a party to the Concession Agreement OS-28 of Balak Bunar Reservoir, located in the village of Dobromirka, Sevlievo Municipality, as well as since 10.06.2015 is a party to the Concession Agreement №OS-92 of Stublata Reservoir, located between the villages Burya and Dobromirka, Sevlievo municipality. Since its establishment, the company performs activities of commercial services and other types of services in the public interest related to the purpose of the concession sites, as well as activities for turning the concession sites into attractive places for recreation and entertainment. For the convenience of ou customers, the commercial activity of the company is directed in two directions – sport and industrial fishing. The main species of fish that are farmed are: carp, catfish, bighead carp, rainbow trout, white fish. In order to provide the normal processes of fish breeding and save the natural flora and fauna, the company has invested in the purchasing high quality equipment.
The leading idea in the management of the company is constant improvement and development in the sector. At the end of 2016 Stormfish EOOD is expanding its activities related to fish farming by investing in the project “Trout Fish Farm – Musina village”.

Carp

The company “Stormfish” Ltd. performs fish farming activities in Musina village, Pavlikeni municipality. Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) is farmed there.
“Trout fish farm – Musina” is located in the area of the village of Musina, Pavlikeni municipality, Veliko Tarnovo district. The total area of the property is 15 150 sq.m. The fish farm is owned by Stormfish EOOD, its geographical coordinates are as follows: N 43.159547, E 25.436581.
The water supply of the farm is carried out from the Musinski karst spring (Peshtera river). It is located near to the main road Veliko Tarnovo – Pavlikeni.The spring is one of the largest in this part of the country. The water supply of the pools in the farm is carried out in a cascading by gravity way. In order to meet the needs of the farmed fish species, the company has built a liquid oxygen system and has invested in the purchase of aerators to enrich the water. Concrete pools are used for fish farming.
Karst water for the supply of the farm has an almost constant optimum temperature throughout the whole year, which allows the pools to be stocked twice a year. The production capacity of the fish farm is currently 80 tons of fish for consumption at a final weight of about 300 g. Annually, about 270,000 – 300,000 are used for stocking material.

SPORT FISHING - KALNA KORIYA RESERVOIR (STUBLATA)

Stublata reservoir is located in the picturesque area of Kalna Koriya, which is located between the districts of Veliko Tarnovo and Gabrovo. This is the reason why it is known by the name “Kalna Koria” among the locals, and in the past it was also known as Burya Reservoir. Near the reservoir there are several caravans for 24-hour fishing, they are supplied with electricity, there is also water nearby. We also provide separate places for the use of personal tents for visitors during their sport fishing activities.
Stublata (Kalna Koriya) reservoir offers excellent fishing conditions. It is located near to the main road Varna – Sofia, 30 km from the town of Veliko Tarnovo and 20 km from the town of Sevlievo. It has a water area of 299 decares and an average depth of 2-2.50 m.
The reservoir has several species: carp, bighead carp, catfish, amur. The cultivation technology is incomplete, of the pool type.
The maximum production capacity on an annual basis of the reservoir is as follows:
Carp – 7 tons
Bighead carp – 4 tons
Amur – 0.5 tons
The composition of the water is tested twice a year in a specialized laboratory at the Bulgarian Food Agency.
In order to expand its activities, as well as to meet the growing needs for fish species, the company “Stormfish” Ltd. is developing a project for the construction of a cage farm on the territory of Kalna Koria Reservoir (Stublata).
With regard to sport fishing, there are current rules that visitors should follow during their stay on the territory of Stublata reservoir.
1. There is a fee, which every visitor must pay Upon arrival.
2. The working hours are from 7:00 to 19:00 from Tuesday to Sunday.
3. When paying the fee, the visitor agrees with these conditions.
4. The fisherman must keep the cash receipt until leaving the territory of the reservoir.
5. It is required to use a cap regardless of the size of the fish.
6. The catch of fish of the species caracuda and perch is paid – 3 BGN / kg.
7. Carp weighing more than 4 kg shall be returned to the reservoir immediately after the catch.
9. Fish killed during the stay of the fisherman shall be paid depending on the type of fish.
10. When settling around the reservoir, each car is parked at the place pointed by our employees.
11. Our employees have the right to check the storages and luggage of the visitors at any time.
12. At the end of their stay, each fisherman must to inform out employees for inspection before collecting luggage.
13. The fishermen leave the reservoir after notifying our employees.
14. Our team does not tolerate the use of alcohol drinks, except beers.
15. It is prohibited to start a fire without supervision.
16. It is forbidden to play music and make noise in the area of the reservoir.
17. Visitors with arrogant behavior will the asked to leave the territory of the reservoir.
18. It is forbidden to bathe in the dam.
19. It is forbidden to store fish in metal cages
20. It is forbidden to leave small children unattended in the area of the reservoir.
21. When leaving the dam, the fishing place should be left clean.
22. The dam manager accepts proposals that would contribute to more enjoyable and successful fishing for our visitors.
Fishing is possible:
– in the light part of the day – fee per person up to 3 rods – BGN 7.00, each additional rod is BGN 5.00 / piece;
– 24-hour fishing – for more information and reservations, please call: +359 87 946 4278. The accommodation of the visitors is organized at 13:00 on the day of accommodation. Fishermen must leave the place by 12:00 on the day of departure.
Prices for 24-hour fishing are as follows:
Fee for 24-hour fishing using a caravan – BGN 50 (the fee includes two people, each with up to 3 rods)
Fee for 24-hour fishing with your tent – BGN 40 (the fee includes two people, each with up to 3 rods).
